Our brief for this project was to create a home for a young couple in the countryside. This was achieved by adding a new wing to a traditional farmyard range of buildings. This super insulated building incorporated straw bale construction with a fully glazed southern gable. Conscious of the need to reduce the carbon footprint, no cement products were used.
